2014 Dizzy Feet Gala: Cyrus Spencer

The Dizzy Feet Gala is one of my favorite events each year. The only thing that rivals this red carpet for me is the Oscars. It's just such a great day to celebrate dance with all of your favorite stars from DWTS and SYTYCD. If you missed my interviews, you can watch the highlights here.

I was asked to post SYTYCD Season 9 finalist Cyrus Spencer's full interview. I was happy to comply. It's unedited footage because I think it's always fun to see what happens right before and after our interview. Sometimes the pre-interview chit chat is more insightful than the questions asked on the red carpet.

Is This a Partial List of Season 11's SYTYCD Top 20?

This week's show with Season 9's Tiffany Maher.

I was handed this list today from a source who has come through for me in the past multiple times. I have not been able to cross-verify the list yet, but I thought it might be fun to ponder if these dancers will be a part of the live shows in two weeks for Season 11 of SYTYCD.

All of the dancers listed had strong auditions, so I think we will definitely see many (if not all?) of these names make it past the Green Mile. >

I am also hearing two fan favorites, Justine Lutz and Cristina Moya-Palacios did not make it to Top 20. I was told Justine made it to Green Mile before being cut and Cristina was cut in Round 2.

VIDEO: Kristin McQuaid & Revolution Dance Company Red Carpet Interviews

I hit the red carpet on Saturday night to interview Kristin McQuaid with the Revolution Dance Company at the El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood. Audrey Case and Will Thomas not only shared their experience working with McQuaid, but they also answered a few fan questions. I also caught up with Sophia Lucia and Asia Monet Ray who prove that the next generation of dancers are going to be forces to be reckoned with.

SYTYCD on AfterBuzz TV: Top 8 Preview

I cannot believe we are down to the last four weeks on SYTYCD. This season flew by for me because I have really enjoyed the competition and the talent this year. As you know, I've talked a lot about our guests this season and how much they've added to our shows this year. So, I'm so excited to announce that this week's guest is Audrey Case.

She was a Top 10 contestant on Season 9 and you may have remember her for her routine with tWitch by Dave Scott or one of my favorites with her partner Matthew Kazmierczak by Travis Wall.  The "Unchained Melody" piece was picked for the finale and for the tour.

UPDATE: So I received a text from Audrey last night asking if she could bring a friend with her on the show.  This is who she is bringing...

Yep, Matthew Kazmierczak! Get those questions in for Matthew, too! It's going to be a great night on AfterBuzz TV.

We had so much fun having Chehon on the show on Wednesday. Listen to how perceptive his thoughts are on some of the dancers and choreography. You are definitely watching a budding choreographer and director...mark my words!

We had a lot of questions about Chehon's dating life and you see his reaction to the question when I asked it. Yep, comes with the territory of being a good-looking guy, but I totally respect his privacy. It's actually a very smart move, in my opinion.

We didn't have time to get to all of the questions, but I know a lot of you are excited about his new movie, East Side Story, with Witney Carson. Hopefully, we will have both of them back on the show later in the season.
