Yes, Henry Byalikov is our guest on Tuesday. Many of you saw the announcement on Twitter earlier this week and you've been eagerly awaiting this post. It's been a busy week, but I finally had a free minute to get this up.
The wonderful thing about having Henry on the show is that it is great timing. He and Sharna Burgess are choreographing the opening number this week, so we will get the inside scoop on how it all came together.
The whole team is expected to be in studio this week: Anna, me, Jake and Suri.

if you were in competition for dwts, is that there was a dance in particular that you would prefer to dance because you know that you can get all the benefits such as energy or emotion without having to worry of technique?
but can really forget the technique? and let it carry on dancing?

Im so happy My bro is FINALLY back even if it wasnt meant to be this season I know he WILL become Pro bc he haa the whole pakage. Once henry is made Pro we WILL do everything we can to help him get that MBT bc us #Henryettes are a force to be reckoned with hahaha

When ( choreographer) you are in the establishment of a dance .. Is That You Have to drive only the dancers? All That purpose is happening around? for example musician, set designer, lighting designer ...? or is only the dancers for the show ?

Henz, Hello from Ohio!! How did you get selected to dance for Dancing With The Stars?
ReplyDeleteNow that Derek has won an Emmy for choreography...is there a more concerted effort or support from producers to get submissions in? Or is really up to the pro and whether they want to submit something. Any insight into the process....can any dance you perform on the show be submitted? I was wondering because Derek submitted something for "Macy's Stars of Dance" performance, the dancing on walls routine ( i think) and some solo numbers he did with Shawn Johnson.
