SYTYCD on AfterBuzz TV Top 10 Preview

These last few weeks of SYTYCD are going to be so exciting. We have our Top 10 and the talent is just incredible. All of our guests are booked through the finale, so stop by and take a look. You might like what you see, we have all worked really hard to get the best guests possible this season for AfterBuzz TV.

I am thrilled that we were able to book Lindsay Nelko because she is one of the new emerging choreographers from Season 10. It's exciting to see new talent and Lindsay had an impressive debut this season. If you didn't see the number she choreographed for Paul and Makenzie, watch it below. The number is just gorgeous and it's one of the reasons I have been shocked Makenzie has seen so many Bottom 3 placements this year.

So watch us LIVE on Wednesday night at 9 p.m. PT on AfterBuzzTV here.

If you have questions for Lindsay, please put them in the comments below. See you tomorrow!

  1. Do you already have a concept for a routine if you are asked to choreograph again? P.S. "No Day But Today" is such a beautiful routine it moves me to tears every time I watch it!! #OneOfMyFaves #MoreLindsayOnSYTYCD #TEAMJACK Love the show guys!!

  3. Grant here. Hi Lindsay first off i want to say how stunning your piece you did with Paul and Makenzie was and what an amazing asset you are to the program. What was your creative process like when producing this dance because it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Thanks.

Hey check this vid out as well of George Lawrence and Audrey Case performing a submission choreography tape from Kristin McQuaid. Sure I see similarities btw this and Travis's piece as well, but I think it has more to do with what the lyrics of the song dictate the movement to be especially concerning a duo, than plagiarism. Love the show, even though it airs the night after, it gives me chance to process my thoughts rationally.

    1. Thanks for this! I will mention it on the show.

The reason we do the following night is because it is the ONLY way to bring in the SYTYCD guests. They are busy on Tuesday nights with the taping of the show and our studios are not that close to the CBS Studios where they shoot.

      Thanks for watching! :)

  6. First of all, Lindsay, your piece with Paul and Makenzie was STUNNING and I was most impressed with how strong Paul looked lifting and assisting Makenzie.

Mega-fangirl important question: So how incredible is Paul to work with, I mean really? I mean REALLY?! ;) lol

Somewhat more legit question: in that piece, the connection between Paul and Makenzie, character-wise, as in one person having a difficult time coming to grips with a reality and his partner trying to be strong for him, was so plainly evident and beautifully observed. How do you work with dancers to bring out that emotion and connection to the performance of a piece?

  7. LOVED your contemporary piece with M&P, would be great to see you throughout the show. Is there one specific song that you would absolutely love to choreograph to/dance to? And what has been the most challenging piece you've ever danced in your career!

  8. Is there one style of dance you would love to learn that you don't already know?
